dont agree with mitty.

i think gibson is good. yea his first touch is heavy but his shooting from outside the box is top notch. it changes things up a bit against teams like wolves as it makes them come outside the box to defend rather than anticipate a cross.

Gibson? Good? Seems we weren’t watching the same game. He was average in patches and often mediocre. His first touch isn’t up to snuff for a EPL player.

Rooney has certainly been in sensational form of late. If he hadn't been substituted against West Ham, he could easily have scored his third hat-trick of the season. Yesterday was Denis Law's birthday. Rooney is certainly the only player in sight who has any chance of rivaling Law's Manchester United scoring record. What I really like about this man; he is down-to-earth, never-say-die attitude, works his socks off and the willing mentality which in born.

I agree that he’s carried the team along this season but I would really hope that he does a genuine support or partner as soon as possible to relish him to the next level.

Let’s face it, he would have a had a better goal tally if he one. We all feel it under the belly.

Mark, whilst I agree that we’d certainly be languishing without Rooney this season, I think it’s still a bit early for Rooney to be placed in the same conversation as Best, Robson, et al. What happens at the end of this season and the World Cup will go a long way towards placing him there though.

i am form overseas ..and ollie ur right …ppl here couldnt care less abt wats rly happening …the sales wont be effected
i would rly hate to see an empty old trafford …but if thats the only way to get rid of theses americans ..then local fans should go for it
the reports about united and liverpool fans join forces against their owners is rly intresting it shows how much the two club care about their teams …by the way ..are the fans still determined on taking over? Harris and Co. ? is there any bid in process?

Yes… and no.

It would be cataclysmic if it actually happens, and if the fans keep it going long enough to dent the purse strings.

But in reality. I think that the overseas sales will not be dented (do overseas fans care about this stuff) enough to make any real dent in the finances.

I would love so see this sorted out though. Kick ‘em in the balls as hard as you can. I just hope it’s hard enough.

gr8 article as always ….i fear lack of depth and experience at the back could cost us the league
aston villa appeared frightening in their game against burnely ..with that kind of defence ..they could inflict real damage and deprive us from our first trophy this season.
seedorf’s goal could turn out to be costly ..but there’s time before the milan game …hopefully vidic and ferdinand will be back ..and in form

sorry guys. fortunatley all you guys were wrong.
milan sure did scare us the entire game. i expect them to get an away goal at old trafford and it will be a hard game.

i really hope fergie sells vidic now as we will get a good price for him and buy cheillni. i really think evans and ferdinand will have to see out the rest of the season as MRS. vidic will do everything to distrupt vidics game.
