All that great football didn't bring a goal until the 70th minute and we have seen that far too many times before (cup final v Arsenal anyone?). Man of the match - the forgotten man hargreaves doing a passable imitation of Ronnie down the wing. Those of us with longer memories will remember that the first player to out-run Giggsy down the wing was a certain youngster from Bayern Munich who chased him down in full flow ... and he did it at OT They made us suffer yet again – but not just when the team sheet was announced.
