Roma 1 - 1 United

I didn’t see the game but I am frankly astonished by the scoreline. I thought that there was absolutely no way in hell we would emerge from this victory with anything other than a defeat.

The stabbings appall me, this is not Millwall and it is not the nineteen seventies, World Champs or not the Italians have got to get their act together with this stuff and as far as I concerned Roma and their ultras are a bunch of scumbags. I hope we never meet them again.

I didn’t see this either but we were less than 20 minutes away from an away win. It’s the fans not the team who need sweeping into the gutter. But at OT when we saw them off 7-1 it was those fans who kept singing for their team when they were 5-0 down. That was impressive. I know which side of the coin I prefer.

By the way, we have a chance against the Scoucers - Mark Lawrenson thinks they will beat us 1-0, goal by Torres. My bet is a 1-1 draw. Can’t wait!

Yes this Liverpool game is important. I think Fergie will go for it but it is way too close to call this time. Maybe the extra days rest gives us something but I expect both teams to score and we’re both coming off the back of good results. It will be a good game for about sixty minutes and then both managers will try to close it down at 1-1. Maybe, then again maybe not.

Sorry about the Crinkleys thing, I shall brainstorm a new name today.

Decent 1-0 win for you guys, looking forward to the big one on Saturday, can you end our 12-game unbeaten run? Should be a good match anyway…

BTW what have your boys been getting up to at their Christmas Party?
